These workshops are an ideal introduction to learn and experience the skills involved in Sensitive Approach: Client at the Core™.
Description of Workshops
This series of live online workshops on Zoom are held on two consecutive Saturdays. There are a maximum of 15 attendees in each cohort to give the best opportunity for learning and connection.
Each workshop covers a specific area of practice relating to the effective delivery of SSP using Sensitive Approach: Client at the Core™. The live group sessions include demonstrations by Dr Liz working with a volunteer from the group as if they are a client. There are regular opportunities to discuss how the skills can be applies for different client populations and integrated into various therapeutic modalities.
The course is hosted on Thinkific to enhance the workshop experience with opportunities to actively build connection and community within cohort and additional resources to support the learning.
The content of the workshops includes:
- The underlying principles of Sensitive Approach and the importance of self-care.
- How to help your client map their autonomic state using Intake forms, jargon-free language, and metaphor.
- How to help your client support and stabilise their system using regulation activities.
- How to monitor, support and connect with your client during SSP listening.
- How to combine the skills learned and use effectively with your clients.
